Dr. Sapodin earned her Doctorate degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences, Mesa, AZ and is Co-Owner of Advanced Hearing Center. She is a board certified and licensed audiologist that has been serving the hearing impaired in Nassau and Queens for over twenty years. She has received many awards including the Platinum Award for fitting advanced digital technology and a proclamation from Nassau County Executive for their dedication to the hearing impaired.

“Unfortunately the hearing aid business is full of bigger sharks than used car dealers. After numerous experiences I’ve finally found THE EXCEPTION, Dr Amy Sapodin together with her admin supporter - Gale!
Dr Amy has “the patience of Job” but also has a pretty firm tongue if I don’t follow her advice to the letter. Straight out of the sound booth she taught me things about my hearing I’ve never heard from any other so called professional. There is neither enough time nor are there ever enough appointments to ensure that my hearing aids fit and work properly to my expectations - or more importantly, those of my wife!
My wife and I spend quite a lot of time in FL but that doesn’t prevent Dr Amy Sapodin from providing her great service as though we were around the corner from her consulting room. Gail does a tremendous support job, often handicapped by manufacturers and red tape but she perfectly navigates her way around the barriers.
Neither hearing aids nor Dr Amy Sapodin are going to restore back your teenage hearing sharpness but with Dr Amy Sapodin‘s tenacity you’re guaranteed to get the best results technology can deliver along with essential backup services & supplies.
My advice is go see Dr Amy Sapodin, bite the bullet and get the best hearing experience you’ll ever get out of todays technology, which by the way is still far from perfection despite its remarkable progress from decades ago. ”

“This review is for Dr. Salamone and Gail. They are caring, compassionate, competent, provide excellent care and are also extremely patient. They also are very good at working with insurance companies to purchase the hearing aids. If your insurance company has that benefit, I was fortunate that mine did. However, I did not know that until Gail helped me with understanding what my plan covered and did not cover. Dr. S also took the time to ask financially what I could and not manage. I can't stress enough how important that was at least to me. Also, she took the time to explain the different types of hearing loss. Hearing loss is not only deafness. She has also helped me with the various problems that sometimes can arise with hearing aids, for instance, sometimes damaging them by accident, and or user error; all with a sense of humor. If you have a need for hearing aids as I have, they can help you to better manage that area of your healthcare needs expeditiously , efficiently, and somewhat painlessly.
