Alliance Hearing Aids opened during the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020.
For decades, the 1150 W. Orangeburg location was a combination optical and hearing aid practice in Modesto, CA. It first operated as Holden Hearing Aid and Optical and then became HearUSA and Visionary Optometry.
The economic conditions of the pandemic forced HearUSA to close the hearing aid portion of the office. However, their assistance was essential in reopening the office as Alliance Hearing Aids. We’re grateful for their assistance in enabling us to serve the hearing impaired of California’s central valley.
Gerald Vietor has been a California-licensed hearing aid dispenser since 1991. He worked for HearUSA under both the Holden and HearUSA names. He was the dispenser at the hearing aid practice when it closed and is now the owner and hearing aid dispenser at Alliance Hearing Aids.

Comprehensive Evaluation
Although not an audiological exam, a comprehensive evaluation determines your level of hearing. It will dictate whether you require a hearing aid. If the exam indicates a medical issue, we will refer you to an otolaryngologist.
