Grant Stevens, HAS Licensed Hearing Aid Specialist Grant has been serving the hearing impaired in the Sarasota, Port Charlotte, and Punta Gorda areas for nearly 16 years. Previously, he served four years in the U.S. Marines. Grant’s wife, who is also a Hearing Instrument Specialist, introduced him to the hearing healthcare field. Grant is committed to improving his patient’s quality of life by fitting them with hearing aids that best suit their individual needs and creating a follow-up plan, which is critical to the success of hearing devices. “Hearing loss for most is such a gradual process that they often times don't realize the impact it can have on their lives. Most of the time it takes our family and friends to notice these problems first.”

“Professional, very knowledgeable, no wait time, very good customer service. My first visit and I was very pleased”
“I had gotten my aides in WI. I also own a house in Port Charlotte. I am in FL from Nov.-May. In Feb. my aides did not work. My Dr. in WI checked with the makers of my aides to see who could help me in PG. Delta Hearing was recommended. I called and got an appt. within 48 hrs. The receptionist was wonderful. The Dr. came out and got my aides. Within 3 minutes he came back out and told me to put them in. Perfect. He brushed the ear tips with a toothbrush. He said do this every morning. They were clogged with wax. Then the Specialist, Grant Stevens stated no charge. What more could I ask for? Very pleased with the service and help.”
“Coming from a strong military family, when I saw the "Delta" name on my hearing aid business search, I immediately called and inquired. Becky was the first person I talked to. I found her to be very professional and friendly. She scheduled an appointment for me to meet with Deanna. My first impression of Deanna was very positive. She was thorough, kind and caring. I have been very pleased with Delta Hearing throughout the process of testing and purchasing hearing aids and highly recommend them.”
“My first appointment with Delta . Becky was very nice in greeting me . Appointment was on time . Met with Deanna , she tested my device , informed me that it would have to be sent in for repair . Gave me a time frame to complete the repairs , pricing was up front . 30 minutes in and out , no wasted time . Great staff , would highly recommend the Punta Gorda office . ”
“One hearing aid was lost before we left CT for our winter home in warm and beautiful Sarasota county FL. What to do? By a miracle I chose Delta Hearing in Port Charlotte where the greeting was friendly and sincere. And the experience grew more positive. Grant Stevens welcomed me as if I might actually be important to him; that he wanted me there and was prepared to give me his best. And he did. We tried a different type from what I had before, I went home and tried them out. They were just not perfect for me and I sheepishly returned, expecting a cranky reception and argumentative attitude. Grant listened to my words as if I knew what the problem was and when we were finished, I left with a new pair of hearing aids that fit me perfectly in every way…I was 100% satisfied that I had the best possible Hearing Aids and that Grant was as close as a phone call away tomorrow or 2 months from now when we returned to Connecticut. Why on earth would you go anywhere else, I ask you.”
We like to joke that it's our sense of humor—but the most distinctive thing about Delta Hearing is the personal connections we make with our patients. We know just how important your hearing is to you and the people you love, and we're honored to be part of that. We also offer more convenient mobile testing options than other hearing aid providers in the area, whether we come to your home or your assisted living facility or meet you somewhere else. We specialize in putting people at ease and making the process of getting and maintaining hearing aids as comfortable as possible.
We have experience with a broad line of products to match any budget, and we pride ourselves on keeping our prices reasonable. You can trust us not to nickel-and-dime you. We'll treat you just as well as if you were a member of our family. Our favorite part of the job is helping people realize how much they are missing, and seeing their excitement when they do well with their hearing aids.
Delta Hearing was originally created to answer the needs of some of the retirement communities in the area. We were asked if we knew of anyone that could come to their facilities and could provide hearing services for their residents. When we asked around, we found that there was a great need throughout the area for a hearing care provider who was willing to travel to their patients and provide their services from a mobile platform. As a division of Delta Medical, we come to you with the support of an entire network of medical professionals. We aim to provide complete coverage of hearing healthcare — not just sell you hearing aids. If there is a medical problem involving your hearing, we know the right people to refer you to, and can get the problem fixed quickly and easily.
