Dr. Broyles holds a Doctor of Audiology from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. He maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (CCC-A). He is also a certified course instructor for the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation. While serving as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, Dr. Broyles completed Basic Officer Indoctrination School, Divisional Officer Capstone, and Officer Development School. He was also awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon (3), National Defense Service Medal, and the Joint meritorious Unit Award. He served at US Naval Hospital Yokosuka Japan and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth Virginia. After leaving the military he moved to Kentucky where he co-owns and runs Starry Fields Farm with his wife Jessica in Rockfield, Kentucky where they grow and sell cut flowers and also raise livestock. Aside from farming he also enjoys weight lifting, yoga, cycling, woodworking, and spending time with his wife and three kids.
