Dr. Broyles holds a Doctor of Audiology from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. He maintains a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (CCC-A) and is an active board member of the Hearing Instrument Licensing Board of Kentucky. He is also a certified course instructor for the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation. While serving as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, Dr. Broyles completed Basic Officer Indoctrination School, Divisional Officer Capstone, and Officer Development School. He was also awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon (3), National Defense Service Medal, and the Joint meritorious Unit Award. He served at US Naval Hospital Yokosuka Japan and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth Virginia. After leaving the military he moved to Kentucky where he co-owns and runs Starry Fields Farm with his wife Jessica in Rockfield, Kentucky where they grow and sell cut flowers and also raise livestock. Aside from farming he also enjoys weight lifting, yoga, cycling, woodworking, and spending time with his wife and three kids.

About this hearing center

When people experience hearing loss, it is common for their quality of life to suffer. Dr. Broyles’ great passion is bringing improved hearing to people who struggle with daily communication. He helps his patients to find hearing solutions to improve their quality of life and return to a more active social life. No single approach is right for every individual, and he has been trained in a wide range of solutions including audiologic counseling and rehabilitation, hearing aids from many manufacturers, assistive listening devices, tinnitus counseling, and hearing loss prevention. Dr. Broyles also is trained in diagnosing and treating vertigo.
