“Very hard to understand. Does not have the most 'up to date' testing setup. Other than that - seems to know his business, and is very personable. Does not explain every thing as thoroughly as other places that I've been tested in. I'm glad I know as much as I do about being tested, or I'd be lost as to what was going on. Assumes you know much more about the testing and situation than we really do. Do not understand his charts he has drawn after testing. Shows 'normal' areas and all out of range areas. But these ranges are not explained in detail. Only a few are touched on with an explanation. Then all info is transferred to the computer. It then 'talks to the hearing aid' and programs it. we sit there while it does its thing. All this with no info given about what is happening! Would love to know!! Especially since I am a computer guru! Not specifics, but a general overview! Then he takes our the first hearing aid and programs the second aid -- giving us no more info than the first. Bog deal! Then he puts them in my ears! counts to see if I can hear better than before. The answer was Yes, definitely! But do not know why, or what the computer programmed it to do. He said it'd take about 2 weeks before my brain would be used to hearing the changes. Then we'd change the settings again. I'm the kind of guy - that would love to know just what the program is teaching my brain! and how it is reprogramming my mind and ears! I knew I had 45 day trail period -- but I was caught off guard when they asked for a credit card for payment of the order - before I could take the hearing aids home. I was not prepared to pay the total amount of the bill today. I did not even have a card with that much credit left on the balance that could cover the payment. So we had to leave without the purchase. We will have to wait till we get the stimulus checks and an expected check deposited into our account in about a week, to be able to pay the order in full. I hope the 45 trial period will start after we take possession of the product.”
