Dr. Rancourt has over 29 years of experience testing and fitting hearing devices on premature newborn to elder patients. Her approach is to partner with families and patients to provide individualized solutions. She worked at Mass Eye and Ear, South Shore Hearing, Boston Children's at Waltham, Oticon, Women and Infants, Sivantos, and Audiology Affiliates. Hear Joy Audiology LLC was built on the foundation of that professional experience. She earned her doctorate and masters in Audiology from Salus University and the University of Connecticut. A native of New Jersey, she earned her bachelors in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Douglass College, Rutgers University.
Maggie Gehm,

Maggie Gehm, Au.D., ABAC, (she/they) graduated from Gallaudet University with their clinical Doctorate of Audiology in May of 2023.
She holds two bachelor's degrees in Linguistics and Communication Disorders from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Hearing, Speech, and Language Sciences from Gallaudet. She completed her clinical fellowship at Westchester Institute for Human Development (WIHD) in Valhalla, NY, where she trained as part of the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and [related] Disabilities (LEND) program.
For several years, Dr. Gehm provided overnight childcare at Walden School, a nationally recognized residential therapeutic and educational program for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (HOH) youth ages 8 to 22.
Dr. Gehm is a member of the American Academy of Audiology. Her clinical interests include auditory neurophysiology and processing, tinnitus management, cerumen management, and cochlear implantation. She thoroughly enjoys working with patients across the lifespan, and specializes in serving culturally Deaf/HOH and neurodevelopmentally diverse individuals.
Having grown up in the Greater Boston area, she is thrilled to have the chance to serve her local community! She looks forward to working closely with each individual patient to craft a plan for their hearing healthcare needs and provide the most cutting-edge, patient-centered, and evidence-based audiological care possible.

Hear Joy Audiology has merged with Twin Rivers Hearing Health, a private audiology and hearing aid dispensing practice in Smithfield. Twin Rivers was established over 25 years ago and continues to provide complete audiology, hearing aids, worker’s compensation, and hearing related services to Rhode Island residents.

Dear Patients,
We will open in a temporary office located at 670 Linwood Ave, Building A, Suite 1, Whitinsville, MA on Nov. 29. We will see patients by appointment only because the space is small. We are excited to get back to serving our community and are so grateful for all the help and support.
