Dr. Ed Bravo founded Audio Help Hearing Centers in 2000 after having spent years in medical, corporate and private practice settings in the field of audiology. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Queens College at CUNY (City University of New York) and his Doctorate degree in Audiology from the University of Florida.
Having earned awards for his continuing education credits, Dr. Bravo is committed to the ongoing improvement of his knowledge and skills. He has been frequently quoted in local and national newspapers, including articles in the NY Times.
In addition to his extensive clinical experience, Dr. Bravo has served as Director of the Speech and Hearing Department at Brookdale Hospital and as a consultant to many local hospitals, including St. Vincent’s Hospital, Manhattan Eye and Ear Infirmary and Lenox Hill Hospital. He was the Director of Operations for a national audiology and hearing aid chain in New York and Connecticut.
Dr. Bravo has extensive experience dispensing hearing aids and is actively involved in the management of Audio Help Hearing Centers at various locations throughout New York City and Westchester.
Originally from Colombia, Dr. Ed Bravo has lived in New York for over 25 years and is married with two children. In his leisure time he enjoys reading, traveling and spinning.
Dr. Natalie Abergel joined Audio Help Hearing Centers after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Indiana University and later her Doctorate of Audiology from Wichita State University. She has developed a unique skill set due to her broad range of clinical rotations including vestibular assessment, pediatrics, and Central Auditory Processing Disorders assessment. During her last year of graduate school, she completed her residency with Audio Help and has been with the practice ever since.
Natalie is originally from Kansas City and moved to NYC after meeting her husband. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, taking her dog to the park, and exploring the NYC restaurant scene.
Dr. Laura Espinoza is excited to join Audio Help Hearing Centers. Laura started at Audio Help as an intern then decided to come back for her residency and finally join the Audio Help team as an Audiologist. Laura earned her B.S. from Ithaca College and her Doctorate of Audiology from Pacific University.
While living in Portland, OR, Laura volunteered at a clinic where she counseled Spanish speaking patients from the community who didn’t have health insurance about the negative impact diabetes has on their hearing health. She is interested in the patient care approach and finding the appropriate plan for hearing health.
Laura is a New York native and in her free time enjoys trying new coffee shops, traveling and posting on her food blog. Laura looks forward to continuing to work with patients in the city and in Stamford, CT
