Y.J. Mary Kim, AuD is a doctor of audiology within the Division of Audiology, in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Her clinical experience includes diagnosis and treatment of hearing and balance disorders. Dr. Kim specializes in advanced diagnostic vestibular procedures in the evaluation and management of patients with dizziness and disequilibrium concerns.

She has presented nationally on the topic of balance assessment and written numerous patient geared articles regarding common vestibular conditions. Aside from her clinical responsibilities, other interests include student education and clinical training

Audiologist

Michelle L. Montes, AuD, is a doctor of audiology within the Division of Audiology in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Montes has been with Penn Medicine since 1989. Her clinical specialty area is working with deafened individuals who pursue cochlear implants. She has been involved in cochlear implant clinical trials bringing newer and expanded technologies to implant recipients. 

She has published on the topic of cochlear implants. In addition to her work with cochlear implants, Dr. Montes also conducts balance function testing and diagnostic hearing evaluations.

Danielle Leibowitz, Au.D. is a doctor of audiology within the Division of Audiology in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. She has clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of hearing disorders, working specifically with both traditional and bone conduction hearing devices. Dr. Leibowitz strives to provide compassionate care and improve the quality of life of her patients.

Natalie Watts,
AuD, FAAA

Audiologist

Natalie Watts Au.D is a doctor of audiology within the Division of Audiology in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. She performs audiologic assessments and works with hearing instruments as well as implantable devices such as cochlear implants, auditory brainstem implants and bone anchored hearing aids. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Watts has published a chapter on programming cochlear implants and has written an article on bone anchored hearing aids for the Hearing Loss Association of America newsletter.
