Dr. Laura Day-Moran has been a professional audiologist for over 25 years and has owned Harbor Audiology since 1998. Dr. Day-Moran truly loves the audiology profession and enjoys getting to know the patients and their families and improving their communication and quality of life. She two grown children and in her spare time likes to garden, travel, read and participates in mission trips in both Mexico and Guatemala.
Dr. Porter joined Harbor Audiology in 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from University of Washington, and a Doctoral degree in Audiology from Arizona State University. She is a native of the pacific northwest, and was born and raised in Gig Harbor, WA. Dr. Porter is excited to join the practice at Harbor Audiology, and to have the opportunity to give back to her community. She is dedicated to providing excellent patient care and spreading awareness and education in the field of hearing healthcare. In her time off Dr. Porter enjoys hiking, biking, backpacking, and everything else the pacific northwest has to offer.

Patient feedback gives us the opportunity to evaluate how we interact with our patients and way we provide hearing health care. We’re sorry you were disappointed there was a charge to clean your hearing aids. Customarily, when someone is fitted with hearing aids purchased from our office, the cost of regular cleanings is included for the duration of the warranty period. When someone purchases their hearing aids from another provider or when hearing aids are no longer within the warranty period, we do charge a nominal fee for cleanings and other maintenance issues. If you purchased your hearing aids from Harbor Hearing and are within your warranty, please accept our apologies and know that we will be more than happy to refund the fee you were charged. Please call our office to discuss how we might proceed – we respect the fact you have choices when it comes to your hearing healthcare and value you as a patient. “Dr Day-Moran was easy to talk to and ready to teach me about inner ear issues I have experienced. When my husband was screened, although she recommended a hearing aid, there was no pressure when it was obvious he was not ready to consider it. I really appreciated that since he only went for the screening at my urging. A free hearing screening is an excellent way to see if you have any hearing issues and what might be done about it. Win/win!”
