“I was not impressed, it was my first visit, was not seen until 20 minutes after the scheduled apt, no apologies . When the Dr. saw me, she did not ask anything about myself, just told me: You are Here for a hearing test, take a sit. I told her that I wanted to talk to her first and explain why I was there, so she listen, but I feel that she should have asked instead of me having to tell her that. Frankly I felt like she did not have very good manners. ”

I described one problem with a static buzz in right hearing aid but the office was too quiet to reproduce the issue in the office. The problem was quickly dismissed but the problem remains in more normal environments.”

“I am a new user of hearing aids. I have worn them for less than six months. On my last visit I mentioned that my new hearing aids were certainly a big help but I still had problems. For instance the sound of running water was awful, turning up the volume made everything sound tinny, and online hearing tests showed marked hearing loss even with the hearing aids on. The audiologist tweaked my hearing aids settings. Now the online hearing tests show vast improvement my hearing. Running water no longer sounds horrible and most of the tinny sounds have gone. It is easier to understand TV dialogue.”

He is 93 and almost totally deaf, but she took her time with him and made sure he understood her and what was going on. I don't know if it was deliberate, but she wears/wore bright red lipstick and it helps immensely with those who watch lips to help understanding. She cleaned his ears and he is very sensitive but I felt she was careful and gentle. She answered questions about potential financing clearly and fully.
