Dr. Norman Sorensen is a licensed audiologist and the owner of Mountain Plains Audiology. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University and a master’s degree from Ohio University in Hearing and Speech Sciences and Audiology. Dr. Sorensen worked in a hospital setting and an ENT clinic before moving to South Dakota. He is knowledgeable in the latest technology in hearing aids and devices and enjoys teaching people about hearing loss and prevention.
Dr. Sorensen enjoys spending time with his family, church, the Boy Scouts and outdoor activities such as hiking and camping.

Mountain Plains Audiology has been providing the finest quality diagnostic audiology and hearing aid dispensing services for over 35 years and we were the first free-standing audiology clinic in South Dakota. We can help you make the best choices with all of your hearing needs and strive to ensure a better quality of life through better hearing.
We serve the greater Rapid City area in our Rapid City office Monday through Friday. We also have satellite locations to provide services in Spearfish and Newcastle.
