Dr. Kamal Elliot, Au.D.
Dr. Elliot founded A&E Audiology in December 2000 shortly after moving to Lancaster with her husband Michael and her two sons Andrew and Eric. A&E is named after her sons, who she enthusiastically describes as her “proudest accomplishments.” Dr. Elliot is passionate about her patients, her employees, and her community. She is the past president of the Pennsylvania Academy of Audiology, and 2018 recipient of the Academy’s most prestigious award, the George. S. Osborne Award for contributions to the profession.
Why I Became an Audiologist:
“I initially started as an undergraduate in Speech and Audiology but realized fairly early that I received immense joy from working with people with hearing loss. I founded A&E Audiology with the goal of being able to bring quality audiology services to people in Lancaster County. My mission is to keep challenging myself and my staff to provide the best quality of care in a warm and compassionate environment!” ~Dr. Elliot
Dr. Jeff Seevers, Au.D.
Dr. Seevers practices at our Lititz office. He is originally from Houston, Texas, and he spent his residency while in grad school at A&E. He proudly says, “I enjoyed the area and my experience at the clinic so much that I decided to stay and make Lancaster my new home.” Dr. Seevers enjoys meeting people and places an emphasis on getting to know his patients by building a relationship geared toward improving their quality of life. Outside of work he is an avid traveler, he enjoys playing tennis, reading, hiking/adventures outdoors, and recently became an Ironman triathlete.
Why I Became and Audiologist:
“Hearing/communication is one of the most important aspects of life….and yet we do not have regular baselines to evaluate hearing after the age of 50. I want to change the way people approach their hearing healthcare and have fun while doing it. My philosophy as an audiologist is to be passionate. Passion for me allows greatness, the possibility to accomplish anything, energy, and a springboard to make a difference in the community.” ~Dr. Seevers

“The reason I rated my experience one star is because the way Dr Kaplan reacted to a complaint about my hearing aids. My wife and I have seen him before and he was very polite. As soon as I disagreed with him he started saying I was rude , he was condesending to me . I contacted DR Eliott and she had Dr. Schmidt take care of everything, I would not go to Dr. Kaplan ever again , I think he needs training in how to handle a customer complaint. ”
“Dr. Panettta has always been very professional. She is extremely patient helping me find the proper dome that provides no feedback and is comfortable. The current intern working with Dr. Panetta is thorough, professional and also very patient.”
“I have been a patient now for just over a year. Dr Panetta has been friendly, professional, realistic, and understanding. She has adjusted her schedule to accommodate a conflict in mine. I am happy with their new location, receptionist, staff, and my audiologist.”
“Called the Litiiz office for some things needed for my hearing aids. Was told that the item(wax guards) were on back on back order but they send my batteries right away. As soon as the guards were available they would send them, got my batteries and to my surprise there were some guards, Janie was a great person she found some in the office, I thank Janie very much for her help. Way to go.”
“I really appreciated the thoroughness of the testing that Dr. Elliot and her team completed for me. Not only that, but I was able to work with more than one brand to find the perfect fit for my hearing loss, ultimately finding the best solution with the latest innovations and conveniences. As a musician it was very important to be able to hear the full spectrum of sound and have programs available for day-to-day situations as well as specific music listening environments. Thanks Dr. Elliot.”
