A message from Ontario Hearing Centers - Brighton Office about COVID-19:
Owner and Doctor of Audiology John McNamara earned both his BS in Speech Pathology and his MA in Audiology from SUNY Geneseo and his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from A.T.Still University of Health Sciences.
As the field of Audiology develops, so does the need to stay educated with the increasingly fast-paced changes in technology and diagnostic procedures. Today's technological advances provide a dramatically different hearing aid experience than was available only a few years ago. The challenge to stay educated about these changes and to implement them appropriately is what makes the difference between fair or good results and excellent results. The Ontario Hearing Centers office staff makes it a point to spend time with each patient to assure that their needs are completely addressed. We encourage you to meet with us and give us the opportunity to help you improve your quality of life through better hearing.

“I cannot thank Dr. Segmond enough for giving my uncle his hearing back! Her professionalism, knowledge and kindness was second to none and so much appreciated by us! Leaving each visit I felt we were so well taken care of! I would recommend Dr. Segmond in a heartbeat!”
“Dr Segmond & Staff are amazing! The testing was very thorough & "state of the art." I felt that I received the best & newest technology & Dr. Segmond was reassuring throughout the evaluation process & beyond. I am adjusting nicely to my new hearing aids & feel that the quality of my life has improved. I realize now how much I was missing because of my hearing loss. If anyone is having difficulty hearing I would definitely recommend an evaluation at the Ontario Hearing Center. ”
“ Test and care was very good, but I am rating this service a 2 -due to lack of reimbursement assistance - Office does not bill Medicare. my secondary insurance will not cover exam cost until I receive a denial from Medicare. ”
“Dr. Segmond was willing to listen to my concerns and seemed to be very thorough clinically and professionally. She was calm and collected while sometimes I may not have been. It was a good experience.”
“The staff is very professional and dedicated. I feel that I am receiving and getting the best and newest technology. They listened to my concerns and adapted to my needs. Without a hearing aid I would not be able to perform my job duties. John listens and is excellent at recommending what each person needs and is comfortable with. ”
