Jennifer Boakye is a licensed audiologist and hearing aid dispenser. She grew up in Bolingbrook, IL, but has lived in Ghana; Long Island, NY; Mesa, AZ; currently residing in New Jersey. She has been involved in the field of audiology since 2018, working in several facilities, such as pediatric hospitals, private practices and senior centers, until she joined the HearingLife family in 2023. Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science degree in
Pre-Medicine Dietetics with a concentration in Biology from Bradley University, and continues to receive her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2022. Her passion and desire to help her patients is what keeps her motivated to provide evidence-based care with compassion daily. She has extensive knowledge of the diagnostic processes used to assess and treat hearing issues.
Outside the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter while partaking in activities such as hiking, going to the gym, interior decorating and attending church.

“It’s always a pleasure to go to hearing life for my annual checkup and service issues. Mr. Rentas is very knowledgeable, and I ask many questions and he informs me of any new technology related to hearing Instruments since the prior year. Service is great and always a pleasant experience. ”

“Very good customer service. Luis was very helpful and replace some of my hearing aid Parts. However, it appears that my right hearing aid still is giving me the 8 beeps 4 times in a row. This indicates that the mic needs some replacement or cleaning. Luis indicated it would need to be sent out for servicing at a cost of $250. Based on the union purchase the warranty is expired but if I get it fixed by the manufacturer I would get a one year warranty on the repair. Thank you, Luis. ”
