Received 05/01/2018Official Response from Grosse Pointe Audiology:“I am sorry that you were upset about the needed repair on your hearing instrument. Your hearing aids were purchased in 2014. They came with a 3 year warranty for repair. We offered you an extended repair warranty plan that you chose not to take. In order to repair the hearing aid, it needs to be sent to the manufacturer. Your manufacturer is the one who charges for the repair, not Grosse Pointe Audiology. The charge you paid previously was for your left hearing aid. The problem you reported yesterday was for your right hearing aid. In order to fix the right hearing aid, the manufacturer does charge you since the aid is out of warranty. ”
