Tanya earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Audiology from the University of Iowa, Master’s degree in Audiology from Northwestern University and Doctorate from A.T. Still University. She wanted to work in the healthcare field and took classes in Audiology, Pharmacy and pre-med. She spent a summer job shadowing with a local pharmacist as well as at Hearing Associates, P.C.. She was impressed with Stu’s business and how passionate he was about helping patients with hearing problems. As an audiologist, she is able to work in the healthcare field, diagnosing ear and hearing problems and improving patient hearing and communication abilities. Tanya enjoys time with family, traveling, gardening, scrapbooking and watching her sons play in a variety of sports, including golf, hockey, track, basketball and baseball.
Rachael earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science and Psychology from the University of Iowa and Master’s in Audiology from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. She has always liked working with children and had initially wanted to help them with hearing loss as a speech pathologist. After taking some audiology classes, though, she realized that she enjoyed the science of hearing and the technology involved with hearing aids, so she decided to become an audiologist. Rachael enjoys reading, embroidery, knitting, sewing and spending time with family.
Jeffrey earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Disorders from St. Cloud State University before pursuing his Doctorate of Audiology from Central Michigan University. Jeffrey enjoys spending time with friends and family, hunting, fishing, and golf. Why Audiology: Jeffrey always knew that he wanted to help others in life. He was unsure how he would do this until he took his first communication disorders course during undergraduate studies. After initially pursuing speech language pathology, Jeffrey discovered that his true passion was audiology. His goal is to improve the quality of life of patients and their family members by providing excellent hearing healthcare.
Christine earned her Bachelor of Applied Arts in Communication Disorders from Central Michigan University and proceeded to also earn her Doctorate of Audiology from Central Michigan University. Christine enjoys spending time with friends, family and pets, hiking and camping, sewing. Christine discovered audiology through studying speech language pathology. However, after job shadowing an audiologist during a clinical placement, she realized that she had true passion for audiology. She had then decided that she would continue her education in audiology instead of speech language pathology.

“My experience with Rachael was very good. I had also met her previously in November, when I accompanied my grandson to an appointment, as our daughter was recovering from Covid 19. Rachael was very competent, made both of the exams as easy as possible, and explained the results in easy-to-understand language. I'm very satisfied with the service I received.”
“Always treated with the best service for many years ”
“Very impressed with Dr. Trembath. He was very thorough about answering all of my questions and explaining my hearing loss and options to help. Thankful that I choose the hearing associates and Dr. Trembath! ”
“This is a long review, but please take the time to read this! I would highly recommend Dr. Jeff King at Hearing Associates. He is wonderful with kids. We have a 5 year old d/hoh son with severe bilateral hearing loss. Even with hearing aids, weekly speech and d/hoh therapy sessions his speech is still very delayed. Dr. King is very patient, enunciates words so that he can better understand and can use some functional ASL to communicate with him. Recently, one of my son's hearing aids stopped working and I contacted Hearing Associates. They were able to get us in the very next day! Unfortunately, the hearing aid was not repairable. Dr. King personally called into the manufacturer and the warranty on his hearing aids expired FIVE days prior. Dr. King was able to talk them into extending the warranty an extra 6 months and they expedited the repair and shipment of the hearing aid at no cost to us! Keep in mind, we had never even seen him before, so all that effort for someone that he had never met and wasn't even his patient at that time. When the hearing aid came in, Dr. King aligned with my son's previous provider to transfer his most recent settings to program the hearing aid without us having to drive to Des Moines. He also coordinated with my son's speech therapist and the AEA's speech therapist, d/hoh teacher, and audiologist. I do not know what kind of service most people receive, but his commitment to patient care and care coordination really impressed us. My son really likes Dr. King and cooperates with him really well (which is often difficult with a very active 5-year old boy!). That goes a long way in obtaining reliable hearing screening results to ensure that his hearing aids are programmed to an optimal setting for him. Additionally, the Hearing Associates office staff are exceptional! They are so friendly and kind every single time I call. They are very helpful and accommodating. They have a walk-in clinic which has been a life saver for us when we need quick troubleshooting. My son's hearing loss is very personal and dear to me, as this truly impacts a large portion of his life. Hearing Associates makes us feel like his care is important to them-- like they truly care about him. If you are reading this, researching for a new audiology center, don't go just anywhere. Go to Hearing Associates where you can be assured that your best interest will be their primary goal.”
“Thank you. Wonderful service!”
