Dr. Olson has been with the HearCare Audiology team since December 2007 Dr. Jeffrey Olson graduated from Nova Southeastern University to become an Audiologist.
Jeffrey has been preforming hearing screenings, prescribing, and fitting hearing devices since 2008. He is an authorized Lyric Hearing Aid provider with the most expansive knowledge providing Lyric fittings for over 11 years. Although Dr. Olson was born and raised in Sarasota, his mother is from Austrian descent therefore, he is fluent in the German language and has traveled extensively throughout Europe.
Jeffrey received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from the University of North Florida. He earned an International degree in the German Language from the University of Innsbruck, Austria. He is a member of the International Hearing Society and the Florida Society of Hearing Healthcare Professionals. Born and raised in Sarasota, Jeffrey has grown up with a love for the water including sailing and surfing. He enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and beautiful daughters.

“I worked first with Dr. Thorpe, and now work with Dr. Pulido. I am living in a whole new world, now that I can hear well. My ears are small, and I could not get the molds to fit without pain. But both doctors worked and worked with me, ordering new molds repeatedly, etc., to get things right. I give HearCare the highest possible recommendation!”

Our Why
Dr. Mary Thorpe founded HearCare Audiology out of her desire to give our patients the absolute best hearing healthcare possible. Our core values for HearCare include compassion, happiness, community, and collaboration. Dr. Thorpe found that when she was a young audiologist working in ENT practices, she was constantly being pushed to hurry up and move on to the next patient. She decided that was certainly not the way she wanted to treat her patients. Dr. Thorpe wanted to give each person the time and expertise that they deserve.
