Janet Perez-Santos was born in New York. Soon after, her family returned to Puerto Rico when she was a child and that is where she grew up. Janet received her B.S. In Biology and Education from University of Puerto Rico. Prior to becoming an audiologist, Janet taught biology and math in Puerto Rico. After teaching for nine years, she decided she needed a new direction and a new challenge in her life. She obtained her Master's in Audiology in 1992 at the University of Puerto Rico. She re-located at Miami in June 1994 and joined a successful company as an audiologist. Janet continued her study and obtained her Doctor degree form A.T. Still University in 2009. After working for 27 years in South Florida, Janet relocated to Lake City and joined HearingLife. Janet loves spending time with her family, outdoor activities, traveling and reading a good fiction book.
