“I purchased my hearing aides on December 30, 2021. The audiologist told me at that time that if I had any problems or issues to just let her know so the problem could be taken care of. I went in the Council Bluffs office this morning and told the lady up front that I was having a couple of issues and could I talk to the audiologist. She said no that I have to fill out a form describing the issues and they would review it. She said or I could go to the Omaha office that does walk ins. I’m very disappointed that they did not live up to their word of addressing any issues I may have. I really do feel like I was terribly mislead by them when I made the decision to purchase my hearing aides from them.”
“She knew sign language and my parents have bad hearing loss, so she could communicate with them pretty well.”
“She was very thorough.”
“They took time with me and seem to be interested in me.”
“I felt like she was very caring.”

Hearing Evaluations The audiologists at the Hearing and Balance Center provide hearing evaluations to determine the degree and severity of hearing loss. These evaluations are performed on infants, children and adults. Conventional Audiometry is the most common hearing test for adults. In these tests, the patient wears earphones and responds to sounds heard. Hearing evaluations for infants and children include monitoring for visual clues. Hearing Aids If you or a loved one is diagnosed with hearing loss and could benefit from hearing aids, Boys Town audiologists will custom-fit the right device for the patient’s needs. A wide range of manufacturers and options are available to find the best hearing aid solution for each individual patient. We can also provide custom ear molds for cell phones and other personal listening devices, Bluetooth- and FM-system compatible hearing aids and assistive listening devices for television and telephones.
