“I have been a patient of Calvert Hearing since 2001. First with Dr. Mainard and the last 10+ years with Dr. Joe. I have never had anything but a wonderful experience. Through several different receptionists to both doctors, everyone is very pleasant to work with. Friendly and compassionate care is what you'll find at Calvert in Allen. You are not just a patient, Dr. Joe always asks about your family. I have progressed through 3 sets of hearing aids. As technology improved, Dr. Joe allowed me to sample each new technology before committing to purchase. Then he made sure they were properly tuned to match my specific needs. Recently, as my current set of aids were reaching the end of the warranty period, I was contacted by text and email to come in and have them checked out. I am so glad they did because both of my rechargeable batteries were very weak and one speaker wire was faulty. Dr. Joe first did a complete audio check to see if my hearing needs had changed, then replaced everything under warranty. My aids are better than ever. The sound is so much more crisp and my batteries are lasting longer during the day. If you are looking for a hearing center to help you with hearing problems, I highly recommend you give Dr. Joe's office a call. You will not be disappointed! ”

It's great that my hearing devices are serviced here and they watch out for your warranty (they replace pieces if needed/clean my devices/send to the manufacturer on your behalf) if it's near expiration. They also offer hearing device loaners if they need to keep my devices longer than normal. They do everything here, it's really convenient for a doctor's office visit. They really are the best here! ”

“Dr Mainord and his staff have taken care of my wife's hearing problems (she is almost totally deaf without hearing aids) and my own hearing problems (slight hearing loss) for many years. He is very knowledgeable and friendly and patient with us. Good hearing aids are expensive, but you can choose from several price ranges with different features, the warranty is excellent, and routine maintenance is free. We are very pleased with the service and products he provides.”

“I don't normally respond to flyers in the mail but the one I received from Calvert was the first advertisement that described the exact hearing problem I was experiencing I decided It would not hurt to take them up on their offer for a free hearing test. Long story short, It is hard to describe the feeling of getting back the hearing that I had lost over several years. There was no pressure to purchase but when I heard what I had been missing for so long I made the buy decision on the spot. For years I have not been able to carry on a conversation in a noisy environment. I would try to read lips but that was not very effective. Ordering a meal in a loud restaurant was a challenge and I usually told my wife what to order for me. Going to the movies always left me wondering what was being said on screen. Ordering fast food at the drive up would be unheard of. All of that has changed! I can HEAR AGAIN like when I was younger. This was the best gift to myself, ever!
