Kathy received her Master of Arts degree in Audiology from Northwestern University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University.  Prior to joining Hearing Professionals of Illinois in 2018, Kathy worked at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital.

Audiologist

Dr. Julie Landgraf is a licensed audiologist who earned her Doctorate in audiology from the University of Florida, a master’s and bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois. She joined our team in 2007 after helping the patients at John H. Stroger, Jr Hospital of Cook County. Dr. Landgraf holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Audiologist

Andrea received both her Master of Arts degree in Audiology and her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She has been a practicing Audiologist since 1983. Prior to joining Hearing Professionals of Illinois in 2013, Andrea worked at Consultants in Neurology, specializing in neurodiagnostics, vestibular testing, balance disorders and hearing instrument evaluations.

Lauren received her Doctorate in Audiology as well as her Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Northern Illinois University. Prior to joining Hearing Professionals of Illinois in 2021, she gained experience in both private practice and hospital settings including Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital.  Lauren previously served on the board for the Illinois Academy of Audiology. She is a licensed Audiologist in the state of Illinois.

Merle Nathan is the Director of Audiology at Hearing Professionals of Illinois. She oversees a team of dedicated professional audiologists. Dr. Nathan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science and a Master’s degree in from the University of Illinois and has been a practicing Audiologist since 1987. She holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Sheri Yamashita received her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida. She received both her Master of Arts degree in Audiology and her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Sheri worked at Christie Clinic-Champaign, Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Mercy Hospital and with Advocate Medical Group before joining Hearing Professionals of Illinois in 2001.

Audiologist

Mary Ann received both her Master of Arts degree in Audiology and her Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from Northern Illinois University. She has been practicing audiology since 1985 and worked at The University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary, the Chicago Hearing Society, Westlake Community Hospital and for Beltone Hearing and Audiology Centers before joining Hearing Professionals of Illinois in 2008.

Dr. Susan Harris is a licensed audiologist who earned a bachelor’s degree from Towson State University, a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina and a Doctorate in audiology from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry’s School of Audiology.  Dr. Harris worked in a variety of clinical settings before she joined our team in 2009. She holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Carone gained experience working in a variety of clinical settings including owning her own practice before she joined our team in 2011. She holds a certificate of clinical competence in audiology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Brittany Nguyen received her Doctorate in Audiology from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri and her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  During her graduate studies, she gained experience in a variety of settings across the country including an otolaryngology private practice in Charlotte, NC and Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ. Following graduation, Brittany has worked in otolaryngology private practices in the Chicago suburbs. She was the sole audiologist at Suburban Otolaryngology in Berwyn for two years prior to joining Hearing Professionals of Illinois in 2014.

Prior to joining Hearing Professionals of Illinois in 2020, Kelly gained experience providing a wide range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services to adults and children in medical settings, university ENT settings, and private practice settings in the greater Chicago and St. Louis areas. She is a licensed Audiologist in the state of Illinois.
