Marla Gracia,

With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Marla Gracia is a dedicated audiologist recognized for her compassionate, patient-focused care. Raised by deaf parents, she brings a deeply personal and insightful perspective to serving the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Dr. Gracia earned her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of North Texas and has expertise in diagnosing and treating hearing and balance disorders across all age groups. She works collaboratively with ENT physicians and educational professionals to ensure comprehensive support for both children and adults. Guided by the belief that exceptional care starts with truly listening, Dr. Gracia takes the time to understand each patient’s lifestyle and goals, developing customized treatment plans enhanced by advanced hearing technologies.

Lisa Fell,
AuD

Audiologist

With more than 27 years of experience in hearing healthcare, Lisa B. Fell, AuD, brings a deep understanding of how hearing loss can affect daily life, confidence, and overall wellness. She recognizes that effective hearing care can be truly life changing, supporting stronger communication, social engagement, and long-term well-being.

Throughout her career, she has seen firsthand how improved hearing can positively impact quality of life. Her goal is to empower individuals on their hearing health journey by providing access to personalized support, evidence-based treatment options, and resources designed to help maximize hearing potential.

In 2025, she transitioned the leadership of the practice she founded in 2008 to focus more fully on the aspects of audiology she enjoys most—working directly with patients. She holds a Doctor of Audiology degree from the Arizona School of Health Sciences and earned both undergraduate and master’s degrees from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Her professional background includes experience in both medical and private practice settings, with a focus on hearing evaluations and hearing aid fittings.

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, their high school–aged son, and college-aged daughter who attends Texas A&M;, along with their two Australian Shepherds. Her favorite pastimes include traveling, attending live music events, and participating in group
exercise classes.

Erica Walker,
HIS

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Erica has been a member of the Audiology Experts team since 2019. She began her career as an Audiology Assistant before becoming a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist in 2023. Erica is dedicated to helping patients reconnect with the sounds that matter most. Whether she is fine-tuning a hearing aid or simply listening to a patient’s concerns, Erica approaches each visit with a problem-solving mindset and a compassionate heart. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Nelson University and her East Texas roots continue to shape her values around family, service, and community. Erica’s work is guided by the belief that better hearing isn’t just about devices—it’s about restoring connection through better communication, which improves the quality of her patients’ lives.

Outside of the clinic, Erica enjoys spending time with her husband, Eric, and their son, Greyson. She finds joy in playing music with Eric, reading, and exploring new places with her family.

“I met Lisa Fell in 2001. She worked in the same building as my ENT doctor. Years earlier, he had performed a stapedectomy to fix a sudden and unexplained hearing loss in my left ear. 13 years later, I had lost more hearing in that year and my right ear was going deaf. I was preparing to return to public school teaching. I had to be able to hear well to do my job. He recommended I see Lisa. The rest, as they say, is history. She fitted me with hearing aids and I was able to perform my teaching duties as well as a normal hearing person. Medical/Diagnostic Hearing Evaluations

Diagnostic hearing testing involves a noninvasive and painless process that measures your hearing capacities in both ears. These results indicate whether your hearing loss requires medical evaluation by an ENT (ear, nose, throat physician). After your hearing needs are clearly identified, we can recommend the most effective treatment options t address them.

Hearing Aid Fitting/Programming

Once you choose a hearing aid, our specialists ensure it is properly fitted and programmed to your unique hearing needs. Hearing aid fitting and programming are essential steps in helping you hear clearly and comfortably. Your devices are customized to support your hearing levels, daily listening environments, and personal preferences. We also test and fine tune your hearing aids to make sure they are performing at their best for optimal sound clarity.

Real Ear Measurement

Real ear measurement is a best practice verification method used to ensure your hearing aids are delivering the correct level of sound. This advanced testing helps confirm that your devices are accurately matched to your hearing loss, providing clearer speech, improved comfort, and better overall hearing performance.

Hearing Aid Repair

We offer convenient in-house hearing aid repair services to keep your devices working reliably. Hearing aids can be affected by moisture, earwax buildup, and everyday wear. Our team can address many common hearing aid issues, including cleaning and maintenance, replacing receivers or speakers, repairing tubing or components, and restoring sound quality so you are not without your hearing support longer than necessary.

Ear Impressions

Ear impressions are used to create custom fit hearing solutions designed specifically for your ears. Depending on the hearing aid style or accessory selected, impressions may be needed to ensure a secure, comfortable fit. Custom ear impressions can also be used for hearing protection and in ear monitoring solutions.

Tinnitus Treatment

Tinnitus is commonly described as ringing, buzzing, or other persistent sounds in the ears. It can range from mild to severe and may affect concentration, sleep, and daily communication. We offer tinnitus management solutions that may include hearing loss treatment and hearing aid programming with sound therapy, designed to help reduce the impact of tinnitus and improve quality of life.

Assistive Listening Devices

In addition to hearing aids, we provide access to assistive listening devices that enhance hearing in a variety of settings. These technologies are designed to support communication in public spaces, at home, and in social environments. Assistive listening devices can help improve speech understanding and make everyday interactions easier and more accessible.

Caption Phones

At no cost for persons with hearing loss, Caption telephone service is available. CaptionCall and CapTel are two popular options for captioned telephone service. They deliver a real-time transcription of audio while on the phone, making it much easier to follow conversations. CaptionCall and CapTel devices provide a touch screen with customizable text, user friendly adjustable volume settings, can save conversations, and are compatible with hearing aids.
