Candice Höegen joined Spectrum Health Audiology and Hearing center in 2010. She is an Audiology Assistant/ Verification Specialist. She specializes in patient communication, organization, Seminar planning and everyday operation of the Hearing Center. She is from the West Michigan area and strives to make the community she serves a better place.
Born and raised in West Michigan, Erica loves the lakeshore area and was thrilled to join Spectrum Health Medical Group to provide quality hearing care to her own community. She attended Western Michigan University, obtaining her Bachlor of Science degree, Summa Cum Laude, in 2004 and her Doctorate of Audiology in 2008. Erica holds her State of Michigan Audiology license, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
Erica provides comprehensive hearing services to all ages, including diagnostic hearing evaluations, balance assessments, tinnitus assessments, hearing instruments, assistive listening devices and custom hearing protection. She works side by side with two outstanding Ear, Nose and Throat Physicians, Drs. Orton and Strabbing, for those patients requiring specialized medical care.
Erica loves outdoor activities and can often be found exploring our great state of Michigan via hiking, camping and motorcycle trips. Her interests also include tennis, soccer, reading and chasing after her two young children.
Dr. Cara Rasmussen received her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University, Arizona School of Health Sciences, and her Master of Arts Degree from Western Michigan University. She is State of Michigan licensed, a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Dr. Rasmussen has worked for the Veteran’s Administration and various Ear Nose Throat physician-based private practices. She is experienced in working with patients of all stages and all ages, and welcomes the opportunity to help you find a hearing solution that works best for you.
