“How I thank Geneva Hearing Services for their true Care of me. Yes, the audiologists have consummate expertise and professionalism and understanding and incredible follow-through that has made sure I am learning to live my life as a hearing person. I never thought this was possible. I just had given up. I needed audiologists to teach me, for I lost faith that I could feel positive about myself and most importantly to believe that there is help and support for me, a senior who felt depressed and isolated from my family and my community. Oh, the patience Geveva Hearing Services gives to me each time I see them. There is no question I cannot ask; they expect me to ask questions and they assure me with such positive and compassionate energy and specific feedback...that I am a vital person who is still a vital member of our community! I can hear now. I hear in a new way. Yes. It took time, expertise and patience and care from Geneva Hearing Services and their belief that I need not ever give up. And now I can communicate with pride and self-worth with my family and friends. My shame has dissipated and is being replaced with self-worth. I can hear... It is a learning process to learn to hear again. And now I am part of a bigger community, a community that includes all the people who are hearing experts at Geneva Hearing Services and all the people who are helped and given hope and support at Geneva Hearing Services. Thank you, thank you for “my ears” and for renewing my life force. ”
