Dr. Trisha Ostermeier is a licensed audiologist who earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and a Doctoral degree from Central Michigan University. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and licensed in the state of California. Dr. Ostermeier gained experience working in a variety of clinical settings including private and hospital. She enjoys working with patients of every age and specializes in assessing and treating hearing loss.

“I had a fantastic experience at Humboldt Audiology. Dr. Speer, who is very knowledgeable, gave me some very extensive hearing tests (I've had other numerous hearing tests all my life) to determine which ranges of my hearing that was poor. I have had Meniere's disease, for over 25 years now, which ends up slowly destroying your hearing. I have ended up with really poor word recognition over the years. Dr. Speer introduced me to a cross-over type hearing aid set, that has the blue-tooth capability to transfer the sound from my deaf ear into the better ear. The ability to adjust the sound frequencies, via their phone app, has helped me with getting the right ranges of sound I need. The support offered by Humboldt Audiology is also quite amazing. By providing continued cleaning, parts, and batteries with your hearing amplifier purchase through them I couldn't be any happier. ”

We offer a full array of assistive listening devices, custom ear plugs for musicians, swimmers and surfers, as well as musician's monitors and electronic ear protection for hunters.
