Dr. Christine Russo-Mayer has been practicing Audiology since 2000. In 1999 she earned a master’s degree in Audiology from Lehman College in Bronx, New York, and her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida in 2003. Dr. Russo-Mayer is fully licensed by New York State to dispense hearing aids and is certified to recommend and fit all levels of amplification that include digital hearing aids and FM systems. She is currently certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Her clinical expertise includes her work with pediatric through geriatric populations, hearing aids, and early intervention. In addition, she specializes in the assessment and treatment of Central Auditory Processing Disorders and educational consulting. Dr. Russo-Mayer also supervises students from many Audiology Doctoral programs through internships and 4th year placements.
She has been married to her husband, Paul, since 2001 and is a mother of 2 beautiful children, Jenna and Jayson. As a wife, mother, and private practice owner, she knows firsthand the importance of family and this philosophy is the core root of her practice. Before relocating her practice to Westchester County and partnering with pediatric ENT Dr. Joseph Bernstein, Dr. Russo-Mayer was the director of The Communications Center, an Audiology private practice of the Upper East Side of Manhattan. There she worked side by side with adult and pediatric ear, nose and throat doctors and gained a tremendous knowledge of the medical background of Audiology. In addition to the clinical Audiology practice at The Communications Center, Dr. Russo-Mayer had the pleasure of working with The Tomatis Program and other listening training programs developed for individuals with Auditory Processing, ADHD, Sensory Integration, Autism, and other developmental delays. In working with these populations, has learned to focus on the WHOLE PERSON rather than just THEIR EARS. Dr. Russo-Mayer collaborates with many audiologists, speech therapists, and physicians in Westchester and Connecticut. Additionally, she works closely with Listening Partners to provide comprehensive early intervention, preschool and school services throughout NY and CT.
Dr. Lindsay Brown joined CRM Audiology in 2021. She attended Ohio State University, majoring in Speech and Hearing Sciences and graduated magna cum laude with research distinction. She went on to receive her Audiology Doctorate from CUNY, The Graduate Center. Dr. Brown is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association as she knows the importance of remaining up to date on the latest research and best practices
Prior to joining the team of CRM Audiology, she was the primary audiologist at two locations for Hearing Health USA where she specialized in the appropriate fitting of digital hearing aids working with a wide variety of hearing aid manufacturers. Dr. Brown was an Audiology Fellow at the Westchester Institute for Human Development and has completed externships at the Rose F. Kennedy Children’s Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center (CERC) and Brooklyn Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center.
Dr. Brown has diverse audiological clinical experience including pediatric and adult audiology. Her primary focus is providing the most effective patient-centered care for individuals of all ages with hearing loss including comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, auditory processing evaluations, counseling, and the selection and fitting of hearing aids. Dr. Brown recognizes the importance of hearing health and looks forward to helping her patients as a member of the CRM Audiology family.

“I am privileged to be a patient of Christine Russo-Mayer, Au.D. and Lindsay Brown, Au.D. at CRM Audiology. Over the past five years I have been a patient of CRM Audiology, I have been fortunate and thrilled to find the most objective, experienced, and concerned care for my hearing needs. Compared to all former hearing care providers I had seen in the prior 30 years, Christine and Lindsay are above and beyond all others in consistently and unfailingly providing hearing care excellence. Through thorough audiology testing and a precise and flawless fitting with the most advanced hearing aid technology, Christine and Lindsay enabled multiple breakthroughs for me: Despite a deep hearing loss, to reclaim hearing ability, achieve near-perfect communications in person, hear sound crystal-clear directly in my ears through my Bluetooth-connected hearing aids and mobile phone, and score unprecedented improvements in my and my family’s quality of life. I am forever grateful to CRM Audiology, my audiologists for life. ”
“I am beyond thankful I met Christine. Christine diagnosed me with my hearing loss when other providers looked past it. Christine and the whole CRM Audiology team provide outstanding care, are extremely generous with their time, are knowledgable and understanding. I'm beyond thankful to have Christine and the CRM Audiology team in my life. Thank you for changing my life [for the better] and helping me hear! ”
