“Mike was very helpful and it was extremely advantageous to have Mountain Ear offer free trial for a week. They are very knowledgeable and helpful but unfortunately the cost of high tech hearing aids is still overpriced. Especially since insurance companies won’t cover them. This is very disappointing for those of us with severe hearing loss. Also most hearing aids tend to go bad or significantly lose performance after 3-4 years and at $5000/pair creates financial difficulties for most in need. Hopefully a hearing aid company or several can work to make pricing more affordable.”
