A message from Sound Relief Hearing Center - Scottsdale about COVID-19:
Emily grew up in Ohio and attended Ohio University where she earned her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Doctorate of Audiology. There Emily was awarded the Outstanding Clinician in Audiology and Outstanding Graduate Student in Audiology awards. She moved to Arizona in 2018 and has loved it ever since.
Outside of audiology, Emily and her husband, Clay, enjoy exploring national parks around the country. So far, she has been to Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Glacier, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton. In Arizona, they enjoy exploring new hiking grounds and trying new restaurants and breweries.
Rachael is one of two audiologists in our Scottsdale, AZ office. She earned both her B.A. in speech pathology and audiology and her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of Southern Mississippi. She pursued audiology because she enjoys helping others and has found fulfillment in working with patients with hearing loss and tinnitus.
Rachael grew up in Mississippi and she enjoys traveling whenever possible. So far, her favorite country to visit is Spain because of the beautiful churches. Her clinical externship at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs in Arizona introduced her to the Southwest, and she has loved the dry heat ever since! Rachael and her fiancé enjoy hiking, exploring new areas, and spending quality time with friends and family.

About this hearing center
Hearing health care isn’t just what we do; it’s who we are. Some of our audiologists have tinnitus, a few of us have hearing loss, and everyone at Sound Relief has family members with hearing loss and/or tinnitus. We share a calling to help people suffering from tinnitus, hyperacusis, hearing loss, and other hearing health issues.
Our only loyalty is to our patients. Here, we give you all the time you need to share your tinnitus or hearing loss experience. We also make sure to fully answer every question you may have. When patients leave, we want them to be more educated, feel more hopeful, and trust that they’ve truly been heard.
What especially makes us different is our specialization in tinnitus. No audiology practice team is ranked higher or referred with more confidence. With the most comprehensive FDA-approved tinnitus treatments anywhere, we’ve helped thousands experience life-changing results.
