Matthew Wetmore,
AuD, CCC-A, FAAA

Audiologist

Dr. Matthew Wetmore earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Illinois State University as a special Education major, specializing in Deaf Education. After working in Deaf Education, he decided to pursue his education further to obtain his doctorate degree in Audiology.

Upon completing his undergraduate coursework, Dr. Wetmore taught for two years as an itinerant teacher of the deaf where he worked with children of various ages with hearing loss.  He then decided to pursue his passion of becoming an audiologist at Illinois State University.  Matthew was an active member of the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) devoting two years as the Chair of Community Outreach in his local chapter.

Dr. Wetmore was born with hearing loss and successfully utilizes a cochlear implant and hearing aid.  His clinical experience features a broad array of services ranging from pediatrics through adults.  He enjoys developing relationships with his patients and helping them navigate the various challenges of hearing loss and bringing the joy of communication back into their lives.

Shanna Marie Dewsnup,
AuD, CCC-A, FAAA

Audiologist

Dr. Shanna Dewsnup is licensed in Arizona as a Doctor of Audiology and Dispensing Audiologist. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, with an emphasis in Deaf Education, from Utah State University. She also studied at the University of Cincinnati where she obtained her degree as a Doctor of Audiology.

Dr. Dewsnup is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. She specializes in difficult hearing aid fittings and hearing rehabilitation. Dr. Dewsnup is an expert in hearing aid technology and hearing aid fittings. She has spoken extensively on hearing healthcare and is very passionate about educating individuals about hearing loss and treatment options. She is a clinical supervisor for audiology doctoral students who frequently rotate through her practice. Dr. Dewsnup has a passion for helping individuals and their families cope with hearing loss, and she finds joy in their success.

Natasha Seaton,

Audiologist

Natasha Seaton is licensed in Arizona as a Doctor of Audiology and Dispensing Audiologist. She earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Elementary Education at The University of Arizona in 2011. She also studied at Teachers College – Columbia University where she obtained her Masters of Education in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education. She taught deaf and hard of hearing children in New York City for six years. After working as a teacher for the deaf and hard of hearing, Dr. Seaton decided to pursue her Doctor of Audiology degree at The University of Arizona. 

Dr. Seaton is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. She specializes in hearing aid fittings and hearing rehabilitation. She is passionate about collaboration and enjoys working with individuals and their families to meet their needs.

Chris Bechtel,

Audiologist

Dr. Christopher Bechtel is licensed in Arizona as a Doctor of Audiology and Dispensing Audiologist. He earned two Bachelor of Science degrees, one for German and one for Linguistics, from the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2015. After being inspired by his family’s experiences with managing hearing loss, he decided to pursue a career in Audiology. He graduated with his Doctor of Audiology degree from Northern Illinois University in 2023.

Dr. Bechtel is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. He specializes in vestibular testing and helps patients understand the causes of their dizziness and balance related symptoms. He also enjoys working with adult hearing aid and cochlear implant patients. His favorite aspect of his job is connecting with his patients and helping them meet their balance or hearing needs.
