Audiologist

Dr. Jim Lamb grew up in Star Valley, Wyoming, where he enjoyed many outdoor activities. Dr. Lamb received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Wyoming in Communication Disorders, with an emphasis in Audiology. Later, he earned his Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University.

Dr. Lamb is one of two medical professionals in the Idaho Falls area who have been trained in and regularly perform balance evaluations of the vestibular system using videonystagmography (VNG) testing. This advanced testing system manufactured by balanceback™ uses infrared cameras inside goggles to record eye movement associated with dizziness. By using our advanced equipment systems and his expertise, Dr. Lamb works with your physician and therapist to identify which balance systems are working correctly, discover the cause of your dizziness, and develop a treatment plan to help you take back control of your balance.

In addition to balance testing, he specializes in comprehensive audiological diagnostics and the treatment of hearing disorders using the latest hearing instrument technology.
