Leslie Murphy has spent her life and career caring for others. She brings that passion to her work at HearingLife, where every day she helps customers hear their best. As a licensed hearing instrument specialist, Leslie is knowledgeable in the early detection of hearing loss and is experienced at fitting and programming today’s advanced hearing aid technology.
When not helping clients, you’ll find Leslie spending time with family and friends. A native of Chicago, she lives in Mequon now, and is a loving wife to her husband of nearly 30 years and the proud mother of two amazing grown children.

“Purchase blue link hearing aids from opticon back in 2007. Lasted about 4 yrs and warranty expired. The big disappointment was those aids were grossly over priced. I felt they wanted the money more then seeing me hear. Writing this now because while searching for new hearing aids again and seeing recommendations for them would be misleading people. ”

Most hearing aids come with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. There are many factors that can affect the longevity and performance of hearing aids. They are typically used all day, every day. When not in use, storage in a cool, dry safe place away from pets and small children is recommended. These tiny electronic devices are worn in warm, dark and damp environments and some maintenance is recommended. Here, we provide complimentary hearing aid cleanings during our daily walk in hours. No appointment is required and we’re happy to clean your instruments and troubleshoot and performance issues. Repairs are typically covered at no charge during the warranty period and low-cost options can be available after the warranty expires. Again, we understand that hearing aids can be an expensive investment in your overall quality of life and would welcome you back to discuss options available today, including state-of-the-art technology and service and maintenance plans that might meet your needs.
