“I have been seeing audiologists for 25 years while living in various parts of the US. Dr. Emily Taylor is a highly qualified audiologist who I gladly give a rating of excellence. Her knowledge of her field is notable and she stays current with the latest technologies. Hearing loss can be complex and personal and she freely gives her time to discuss options and try various programming options with my hearing aids. The entire office is welcoming and Emily Taylor is very accessible and a pleasure to work with. You really can't go wrong with Taylor Listening Center. ”
“Dr. Taylor is very patient and kind. I like the immediate service I receive in her office. The whole staff is very caring and professional and good.”
“Always available; comfortable waiting space; coffee, tea, etc. available; never a long wait. explanations given by Dr. Taylor easy to understand. rarely give an excellent rating, but TLC deserves this one!”
“I had a fantastic experience with Taylor Listening Center. When I first came in the office I was really struggling with an old 'basic' hearing aid, often calling out of work on 'bad hearing days' and avoiding certain social situations. Emily was very patient and understanding of my situation. She allowed me to 'demo' multiple different devices for an extended period of time so we could find the right fit and explore all the options I was interested in such as Bluetooth and streaming iPhone integration. Since working with Taylor Listening Center I've haven't had to call out of work and am more comfortable in situations that were previously difficult such as going to the movies, attending shows or traveling through the airport. I highly recommend making an appointment with them.”
“Even though I have a long drive for an appointment, I enjoyed receiving my hearing needs at Taylor's office. Emily is very helpful and willing to bend over backwards to meet your needs. I have been able to try hearing aids prior to purchase and others prior to changing my original purchase. She is helpful on making appointments fit one's schedule. Overall, I am happy with my choice of hearing establishments. ”
About this clinic
The Taylor Listening Center was founded in 2013 by Dr. Emily J. Taylor, a native to the Baltimore area. Her dream of opening a practice came about 10 years ago when she was studying at the University of Maryland. Dr. Taylor’s vision was to create a listening center that was 100% focused on patient care and less on the profit. Some might say this makes her a bad business woman but this philosophy is what makes Taylor Listening Center so unique compared to other practices in the area. Patients enjoy the professional and welcoming atmosphere and quickly feel like part of the TLC family after just one visit. TLC is dedicated to giving back to the community by selecting a different foundation/charity each month to donate proceeds of hearing testing to. We have also set up a hearing aid donation program so that we can fit refurbished donated hearing aids to those who cannot afford amplification. Dr. Taylor and staff look forward to showing you why TLC is a special type of practice unlike any other.
