“My hearing impairment has been an issue for me for years. I was always skeptical about getting hearing aides. My concern was I would not be able to get used to them. Fast forward to 2017, I was referred to Dr. Emily Taylor. It was a life changing referral for me. Dr. Taylor is so patient and understanding. She performed a hearing test to determine what my hearing needs were. She let me do a trial period with a set of hearing aides. My world opened up. I was hearing things I never heard before. What a difference hearing aides make. As I said, it has been life changing for me. I recently purchased a new pair of hearing aides. Again, Dr. Taylor walked me through each step of the process. I am so happy with my new hearing aides. Dr. Taylor is always so supportive, patient focused, and available to answer any questions. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Taylor and Taylor Listening Center to anyone who needs help with their hearing. ”

“This was my first visit to an Audiologist. Happily, I will have no need to seek another! At my age, I have the "opportunity" to see numerous doctors throughout the year and I can honestly tell you Emily of Taylor Listening Center ranks amongst the top 1% of all medical professionals I've seen over the the 10 or more years. I say this because A. How I was treated B. The degree of expertise and professionalism I was treated like an ACTUAL human vs. another steer in a heard of cattle. I would go so far as to say I was treated like an old friend. With an equal mix of professional knowledge, technical expertise and lightheartedness, Emily has created the perfect recipe for Patient Happiness. I WILL be back...at LEAST for an annual dose happy ears!”

TLC for your ears

The Taylor Listening Center was founded in 2013 by Dr. Emily J. Taylor, a native to the Baltimore area. Her dream of opening a practice came about 10 years ago when she was studying at the University of Maryland. Dr. Taylor’s vision was to create a listening center that was 100% focused on patient care and less on the profit. Some might say this makes her a bad business woman but this philosophy is what makes Taylor Listening Center so unique compared to other practices in the area.

Patients enjoy the professional and welcoming atmosphere and quickly feel like part of the TLC family after just one visit. TLC is dedicated to giving back to the community by selecting a different foundation/charity each month to donate proceeds of hearing testing to. We have also set up a hearing aid donation program so that we can fit refurbished donated hearing aids to those who cannot afford amplification.

Dr. Taylor and staff look forward to showing you why TLC is a special type of practice unlike any other.
