As a seasoned veteran with nearly 10 years of professional hearing aid specialist experience in both Maryland and Pennsylvania, Chris brought his passion for improving lives through better hearing to Absolute Hearing in 2018.  Chris has seen the truly life changing effects of better hearing across patients of all ages - 18 to 106 years old - and is honored to now be serving our local Grand Strand community.  One of his greatest rewards is the expression on someone's face after hearing their spouse's voice for the first time in years.

In his free time, Chris enjoys a wide variety of activities and sports but spends most of his time with his beautiful wife Traci and their twin girls, Tessa and Taylor.

“While in Murells inlet I thought my HA was shot, I looked this place up and Holly was very nice and got me in to see Chris and he had me up and hearing in no time. AWESOME place wish they were near me back home. Need help go hear, need hearing assistance go here.. OUTSTANDING.. ”

“Thank you very much to Chris and Paul for the excellent service and solution to my hearing loss difficulty that you provided to me. Having struggled to understand what others were speaking in everyday family or public settings, I am thankful that I attended your seminar on hearing loss and corrective opportunities available through your hearing care center. Paul, your hosted seminar was right on track for encouraging me to take action. Chris, your very professional and knowledgeable assistance in testing for the quantity and quality of my hearing loss was very convincing. Thank you for providing the options for me to make the right decision for the best hearing aids for my hearing difficulty and life-style. The blue-tooth equipped Siemens aids are truly remarkable in what they can do for enabling hearing when interacting with musical sound equipment, answering your cell phone, etc. I wouldn't have realized the possibilities without your guidance. Your providing me with the instrument options and then letting me make the decision as to what worked best for my situation, sort of opened up a whole new area of technology for me. It has made my exercise walks while listening to music more enjoyable, answering cell phone/telephone calls easier and being able to hear in crowds. My wife also appreciates my regained hearing. “The team at Absolute Hearing Care Center in Murrells Inlet we’re fantastic! I was able to wear and compare hearing aids with varying levels of sophistication and price points. Their concern for me making the “right” choice of instrument guided the entire selection process. I don’t think “hurry” is in their vocabulary. If you want personalized, expert help to hear your world better, you need to see the team at Absolute Hearing Care Center, Murrells Inlet SC.”

“These guys are amazing! I was visiting your beautiful inlet recently, got my hearing aid wet and it immediately ceased to work. It was well past the office hours on a Friday evening. I and all who attempted to talk with me were miserable the whole weekend. Seeking out help on a Monday I found Chris Cornwell on duty. He worked me in immediately and started to check the device. I was fully expecting to hear words to the effect, "there's no hope", but was pleased to quickly hear words to the effect, "you're good to go". With the skill of a surgeon he brought it back to life! To top it all off he insisted I owed him nothing!! Five stars just don't seem enough@!”
