All in office patient's are required to complete a COVID-19 screening and temperatures are taken upon arrival. All office personnel will have received their COVID-19 vaccine by the end of Jan 2021. We are happy to help you with all of your hearing aid needs whether that be in person, virtually or we can even come meet you at your car to collect hearing aids for cleanings and repairs upon request.
Dr. Alice Wilson is a licensed audiologist providing hearing services to the patients at ENT & Plastic Surgery. She earned her bachelor’s degree from North Texas State University, her master’s from the University of Texas, Dallas and her doctorate from A. T. Still University. Dr. Wilson has over two decades of clinical experience in audiology and has worked in several clinical settings and owned her own practice for six years.
When not helping her patients, Dr. Wilson enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, baking, entertaining, camping and playing with her pets.
Dr. Emily Rooney is a clinical audiologist who helps patients with hearing and balance related difficulties across the lifespan. Dr. Rooney received her Doctorate of Audiology from Montclair State University in New Jersey and received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Loyola University of Maryland. Dr. Rooney completed her clinical residency at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack New Jersey where she received comprehensive audiologic training working with pediatric patients, as well as an expansive training in cochlear implants.
Dr. Rooney is passionate about providing comprehensive and family center hearing healthcare to her patients. Dr. Rooney understands that each patient’s hearing needs are different, therefore she has received extensive training in fitting and verifying hearing aids, bone anchored hearing devices, and cochlear implant mappings to make sure she can cater to each patient's needs effectively. Dr. Rooney was drawn to the field of Audiology as she finds great joy in implementing current evidence based practices in combination with the newest technology to provide a positive impact in her patient’s ability to communicate effortlessly with their loved ones. When she is not working, you can find her exploring the many running trails in the DMV area or sitting on the beach with a good book!
