I became an Audiologist with a masters degree in 2002, & later began my doctorate. After another 4 years I earned my Doctorate of Audiology from Salus University in 2008.  I love what I do and I am excited to be able to practice my profession the way I feel it should.  I was raised in Arco, Idaho and married Amy Murdoch from Idaho Falls.  We have 6 children who keep our house full of life and activity.  After serving the Idaho Falls areas' needs in Audiology and Hearing aids since 2003 my wife and I decided that the needs of our family and patients would be better served by opening our own practice.  It has been an amazing journey with countless blessing mixed with lots of hard work, & our savings.

“My wife had hearing aides and kept complaining about me. She said I didn't talk loud enough or the radio or tv were too loud. I decided to go to Better Hearing and Audiology. Dr. Parsons is excellent with state of the art equipment. He was very thorough. He explains everything he does in a language that anyone can understand. We are so lucky to have them in our area. The Best!”

“Dr. Parsons and staff have been so outgoing and kind to me since the first time I came to the office. I was still wearing my old hearing aides and had so many problems with them. They took the time to help even though they were not the office that sold them to me. Dr. Parsons reprogrammed those old hearing aids and made them work awesome. They even sent them in for repair when needed. I finally have the financial ability to buy new hearing aids and I was proud to purchase them from Better Hearing. Great people that know their great products. Thanks guys for being so nice to me. ”

“I came to Dr. Parsons because I know my hearing was slipping. My wife complained I always had the tv or radio up to high and that I talked really loud. I know it was time. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Parsons. He took a lot of time with me and answered all my concerns. He has state of the art equipment and knows how to use it. I would recommend him to anyone that is having hearing problems. I am very glad that I found him. ”

About this clinic

Our focus is on meeting the unmet needs of our hearing patients and focusing on what is truly important, bettering relationships through better hearing.  Hearing aids are currently sold by bundling all the costs into the initial price. We felt this was too expensive for patients, didn't promote best fit practices, and was often unfair to patients forcing them to pay for services they would never use. We have taken the mystery out of the cost of hearing aids by unbundling and itemizing our services.  We give you the option to only pay for services as you receive them.  If it is better for you to bundle and prepay for services, than we can do that as well.  By treating the communication problem by comprehensive testing of both the hearing system and the brain's ability to interpret sounds in quiet and noise, best fit hearing aid practices, and communication strategies we are able meet your hearing needs better.  Our business model forces us to be better, every visit.
