Unbeknownst to me,
I gradually developed a permanent slight hearing loss, prior to college, through noise exposure from musical instruments. I was told by others that, "those instruments can be loud", but I did not fully understand the effects of cumulative noise exposure. What I needed was education on hearing conservation.
Now as an Audiologist,
It is my mission to empower others with this knowledge as well as improve the quality of people's lives and relationships by facilitating better hearing and communication. I am qualified to provide appropriate amplification solutions for patients of all ages.
I am a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology as well as an associate of the American Speech-Langauge-Hearing Association. My other passions include being an active contributor in my community and church, enjoying my family and friends, and songwriting. I love to experience the outdoors through activities such as mountain biking, golf, running and snowboarding.

“I love Dr. Recher. He goes above and beyond excellent audiology services, with great attention to detail and a sincere, caring disposition. He took his time wth me, explained EVERYTHING at great length, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortably knowledgeable before walking out of his office. A genuinely nice guy and best audiologist I ever visited (and I have seen a few). I even fly in from out of state to see him; yes, he's that good. ”
“Dr. Recher is beyond impeccable. He provides excellent service and is very hands on and patient. He provides the assurance of being there even after the appointment/consultation is over. Highly recommended ! ”
“Dr Thomas is by far very professional and courteous and he was very patient with my daughter and with all of us I must say . He explained everything and is very knowledgeable. He is also very kind and friendly.”
“Everything was beautiful. The doctor was very nice and he helped me flush out my ears and everything's feeling great now. The doctor really took the time to explain everything and was patient with me. Service was wonderful, I highly recommend Dr. Recher!”
“Having a sudden hearing loss can be quite traumatizing. As I can speak for myself waking up one morning and losing hearing from one ear is quite alarming. After 4 months and four “specialists “ in hearing loss had pretty much given up on my left ear , I was resigned to accept the prescription of a cross-over hearing aid, and see Dr. Recher for a fitting. All I can say, is that he is a people person who will listen to your personal story, take your wishes and hopes into consideration to try and find the best solution for your particular hearing problem. We are in the middle of experimenting with a dual ear hearing aid, which boosts the frequencies that are still tangible in my “deaf” ear, giving me hope that my life will still be in stereo rather than mono. We connected on the love of music, the love of playing and singing with our guitars. I walked out of there with the first sense of hope since the onset of my condition. Absolutely know that you are in good hands by a caring human being who has your best interests at heart. Thanks Dr Tom as you answer to also. I’m so glad I walked into your facility.”
