Dr. Mark Datuin joined Mission Audiology in 2018. As a native of Orange County, he is thrilled to be able to serve the same community where he grew up and continues to live. Mark was inspired to pursue a career as an audiologist through his deep appreciation for live music and the performing arts. He cherishes the ability to hear well, which drives him to help patients improve their hearing to not only connect better with their friends and family, but also to maximize their enjoyment of live performances, music, movies, and television.
Dr. Datuin obtained his undergraduate degree in psychology at UC Irvine and his Doctorate of Audiology from a joint program of UC San Diego and San Diego State University.

“I just want to say my audio testing was very pleasant and professional. Mark took time to explain the process or agenda items of what he is going to do. Each step of the way, he showed me where he was in the large screen of 'road map' of the image of the ear. He also educated me on how the ears work with pictures on the screen. He asked question and listened in a professional manner, and he made sure I understand. I would recommend him without any reservations!”
