“In May of 2021 I had an opportunity, even though I was out of town, to have my hearing tested at Timpanogos in Spanish Fork, Utah. Jessica Nelson made this experience stress free. The examination was very complete. Even though I was unable, because of distance from my home town, she took the time to contact my insurance and then made recommendations for hearing clinics in my town. She and her staff are very professional. I would highly recommend Timpanogos Hearing to anyone having a hearing loss.”
“Avoid this place at all cost!! They jerk you around and you get nothing in the end! Been trying to get my veteran father hearing aids from here. They were ordered 6 months ago. Made several calls and kept getting the runaround. They put the blame on others. Then they reported to the VA that my dad never showed up to his appointment which was proven a lie. They then admitted that he did come but now are refusing to provide the hearing aids that they were contacted to do. Their response was basically too bad. My dad is 88 years old and now we have to start all over again. Save your time and go someplace else!!”
Received 03/29/2021Official Response from Timpanogos Hearing and Balance - Spanish Fork:“Mr. M, I’m sorry your father has had difficulty obtaining hearing aids through the VA Community Care Network in our office. As the son of a decorated Air Force veteran I was excited to provide VA services directly to our veterans. When we attempted to credential as a VA CCN provider we were informed that the hearing care contract in the western region was only available through Your Hearing Network. We joined Your Hearing Network as a VA provider, but quickly discovered the added party between our office and the VA slowed the process immensely. For all VA patients I am required to submit our findings, notes and recommendations to Your Hearing Network who then processes the claim and forwards it to the VA for further processing and approval. This process has meant that every VA patient we have worked with has had at least a 6 month wait from initial visit to hearing aid delivery. We have tried delivering our findings and recommendations directly to the VA in an effort to speed the process along and was informed by Your Hearing Network that since we breached the contracted process we would not be reimbursed by them or the VA for that particular patient. I sincerely apologize for any frustrations you have felt, we share the frustration with this situation as well. ”
“Very informative about price and the difference in options available helpful to us so we could decide what we wanted no pressure just helpful.”
“Very courteous, the doctor and receptionist.”
“I had been burned bad by other hearing aid places. I decided to give it one more try at a place I had never been before. I was blown away by the service and the Dr. I wish I had come here first. I feel comfortable and most of all I can hear! This has been a wonderful experience and my life is better because of the hearing aids, the service, and the relationship I have with the Dr.”
