A message from HearSmart Audiology about COVID-19:
Megan earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University and a Master's degree in Audiology from the University of Pittsburg. She has great experience as an assistant director of the cochlear implant program at University Hospital of Cleveland/Rainbow Babies and Children Hospital in Ohio where she refined her skills working with the three FDA approved cochlear implant devices. Currently, Dr. Ford is a staff audiologist and the clinical coordinator of cochlear implants for the Sounds of Life Cochlear Implant Program at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Megan also specializes in the area of cochlear implants, and has a long term experience as a pediatric audiologist. In 2007 she founded and continues to facilitate the Hear My Dreams support group for parents of children with hearing loss. Her passions include spending time with her children and family, gardening, eating locally (like from her back yard) and living healthy. She is an avid gardener and in the spring, summer and fall, you will likely find her outdoors covered in dirt or harvesting vegetables not only from her personal garden, but also at the Garden at Church Meadows.
Dr. Julie Breault is a licensed audiologist who earned her Doctorate in audiology from Northeastern University in 2017. She is licensed through the American Board of Audiology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Breault gained experience working in a variety of clinical settings throughout Massachusetts.
