Dr. Julie Prutsman, owner and founder of Sound Relief Hearing Center, is an expert at helping people hear better and treating tinnitus. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Marietta College, her Master’s Degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado, and her Doctorate Degree in Audiology from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry’s School of Audiology. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, American Doctors of Audiology, and the American Tinnitus Association.

Sound Relief Tinnitus & Hearing Center in Highlands Ranch provides specialized evaluation and management for tinnitus, sound hypersensitivity, and hearing loss. Dr. Megan Read, Au.D., CH-TM, Dr. Kelli Whitley, Au.D., CH-TM, and Dr. Abbey Poe, Au.D., CCC-A, CH-TM, have extensive experience with complex tinnitus and decreased sound tolerance. All receive direct mentorship from founder Dr. Julie Prutsman, Au.D., CH-TM, a nationally recognized tinnitus specialist. As an independent, family-owned practice, recommendations are based solely on patient needs and best available evidence.

Highlands Ranch utilizes The Sound Relief Method, an evidence-supported tinnitus-management protocol integrating personalized sound therapy, principles of Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT), and counseling strategies informed by cognitive-behavioral research. This method targets auditory pathways and neurological responses involved in tinnitus and sound hypersensitivity. Highlands Ranch also provides comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations and individualized hearing-technology solutions based on communication needs, listening environments, and patient preferences.
