Paul Dole,
HIS

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Paul was born and raised in the south shore community of Abington, Massachusetts. For Paul, hearing loss is a personal story. His father was a World War II veteran who had always been a very social person, but sometimes withdrew from conversations because of hearing loss. When Paul entered the field of hearing, he was able both to understand his father's experiences and help others who might be facing the same challenges. Now, with more than 15 years of experience behind him, he gets to make a difference every day for patients like you. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Communications and a minor in Marketing. He also earned his Master's in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida. Following his education, Paul has spent his whole professional life in the medical device field, including over a decade and a half in the hearing industry. He is currently licensed through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Licensed Instrument Specialist, #310. He is a member of the Massachusetts Hearing Society, as well as a member of the International Hearing Society.

“I have been going to Flynn Associates since I was a child. I first started with Tom and now continue to go as an older adult to see Paul. I would not go anywhere else for anything with my hearing aids. The best!”

“Both my mother and myself have been using Flynn Associates for years. We depended on Tom before Paul. I now have had new aides with Paul. He is excellent with explanations , adjustments and patience. You never feel rushed and he listens well to questions . I have always found he expertly addresses questions or issues. You can depend on his answers or recommendations to be honest. Above all he has the patience if you are facing your first purchase of hearing aids and have lots of questions. Follow up support is readily available also. ”

“I first met Paul Dole in his office in Wellesley as I was referred to him by a manufacturer of new hearing aids for testing and possible purchase of the new aids. Paul examined the hearing aids made by Oticon that I was then wearing and advised me not to purchase the new ads as the ones I was wearing were superior. I have severe hearing loss, and asked Paul if he thought I coprovided better uld do better with different aids. He said that the hearing ads by Resound were superior at high frequencies where my hearing loss was most severe. So I bought them and Paul has made the necessary adjustments including coming to our home several times when we couldn't made it to Wellesley. In my experience, he has been expert, honest, and willing to go out of his way to help.”

“Honesty is what sets Paul Dole apart from other hearing specialists I've encountered. He doesn't sugarcoat your diagnosis, but deals with the reality of your hearing loss with appropriate hearing aids that will work best for you”

“Paul is amazing. He has seen me multiple times for issues that have come up, including dealing with a hearing aid that spent a few days lost in the snow, and my unusually shaped ear canals. He has never charged me after my initial purchase over two years ago, and fit me into his schedule, while accommodating my limited availability. Most recently this including a new hearing test which required a significant adjustment to one hearing aid. When I decided I wanted an additional charging case, he ordered it, but gave me a loaner while I waited for it to come it. While I was initially on the fence about getting hearing aids, I have to say it has been a life-changer. Paul has made the process extremely easy, and I can't recommend him highly enough! ”

Clinic details

Flynn Associates has helped members of the Wellesley and Concord communities hear better since 1959. We were founded by hearing instrument specialist Bob Flynn, who established the philosophy that drives us to this day: do what's right by the patient.

Since then, we have upheld the same level of care that Bob believed in. It's an honor to continue his vision and be part of such a rich history. We've known some of our patients for decades, and we've seen some families for generations because people trust us. They know we will always strive to do what's best for them, and we try to educate and empower the people in our community to understand and make decisions about their own hearing.
