Eric W. Nilsson is a Nationally Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist and has been working with the patients of Nilsson Hearing Center for over 6 years now. Although his direct contact with patients has only been 6 years, he has been a part of the family business his entire life with his father (Mark W. Nilsson) working with the Hearing impaired for over 33 years. He enjoys working with each and every patient to find a solution to solve their individual hearing loss and getting to know every patients story. He enjoys staying abreast to the latest technological advancements that are being made and how it can change his patient’s life. He has personally seen the impact of hearing loss with numerous family members having problems with their hearing. Also understanding the detrimental impact it can have on the individual as well as the loved ones around them when it is left untreated.
Mark W. Nilsson is a Nationally Board-Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist that has been serving individuals of Southern Utah who struggle to hear and/or understand for over 32 years. As owner and the only specialist at Nilsson Hearing Center for the first 27 years, Mark has a personal relationship with each and every patient. Mark not only helps the hearing impaired of the community, but he is also hearing impaired and has found a great benefit from wearing Oticon Alta Pro hearing instruments and spending countless hours using Nilsson’s Unique Auditory Training program to further improve his understanding in noisy situations. Mark firmly believes that it is his job to inform and educate the community and his patients about hearing loss, hearing devices, and the correlation to cognitive functioning. Mark takes great pride in focusing his attention on our Unique Listening Enhancement Program and Auditory Counseling services that have given him an additional 40% improvement in understanding.
Dr. Sharon Richens, MD, FACS, FAAO, Board-Certified Ophthalmologist understands how important Hearing Well and Seeing Well are to ones livelihood as she herself has been affected by a severe hearing loss for many years and personally benefits from the services of Nilsson Hearing Clinics and the Oticon Alta with BrainHearing Technology. In 2012, Dr. Richens took the next step in providing her patients with a renewed lifestyle by offering hearing services within her medical practice and invited her personal hearing care provider, Nilsson Hearing Clinics, to be the hearing provider at Richens Eye Center.
