Karen earned her Masters Degree in Audiology from Western Michigan University and her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from University of Phoenix. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, is Board Certified by the Academy of Rehabilitative Audiology, is active in the American Auditory Society, National Hearing Conservation Association, and the American Tinnitus Association.
Craig Van Doorne joined us in January 2011 as a licensed hearing instrument specialist. He also has credentials as an Audiology Assistant from Nova Southeastern University and has completed his distance learning for hearing health sciences from International Hearing Society. He brings to us a unique ability to troubleshoot hearing instruments and is a strong supporter of loop technology.
Board certified in Audiology, Karen Van Doorne Nagelkirk has been an audiologist in the West Michigan area for 30 years and is joined by her son, Craig Van Doorne, Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist, to form Van Doorne Hearing Care. We carry on a long tradition of excellent hearing care to our patients and have a new location with a warm and comfortable atmosphere, demos and temporary aids available should yours need repair. Bluetooth and Loop Technology available for demonstration.
Hearing tests, lifestyle and readiness assessment hearing aid usage, dispensing hearing aids, repairs on all makes, free hearing aid batteries for 5 years, follow up appointments, annual hearing screen for reprogramming no charge. Loaners provided for repair. Training for better hearing in noise with LACE free. Loop installation available.
