Since 1978, the Hearing Care Center has offered comprehensive audiology and hearing aid services to both children and adults. You will work with Peg or Jennifer, one of our certified audiologists, and talk about your symptoms, your concerns and your unique situation. Then we will begin your comprehensive hearing evaluation to ensure the most complete, accurate assessment available. Only after our audiologists have determined the degree of your hearing loss can we make a forthright recommendation, one based on fact, not in an attempt to sell you something you might not need. If we determine that you do need a hearing aid you'll be glad to know we offer a wide range of brands, models and types. We will never sell you a product and send you on your way. That's just not the way we do things. We'll make sure you a get a precise fit and that you are completely informed about and comfortable with your personal hearing device, including the maintenance and cleaning of your instruments. We offer: Adult and pediatric hearing testing Newborn hearing screening ENG (Electronystagmography) testing of the vestibular portion of the balance system Counseling and second opinions offered The latest 100% digital hearing aids including binaural processing and blue tooth compatible technology Personal communication systems or assistive listening devices Demonstration hearing aids available Custom ear molds, swim molds and hearing protection Hearing aid repairs and batteries A minimum 30 day trial period with instruments Free cleaning and adjustments throughout the lifetime of the hearing aid We work with several different hearing aid manufacturers including Oticon, Phonak, GNReSound, Unitron, Starkey A 30 day trial period is given with every hearing aid or assistive listening device purchased from the Hearing Care Center. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase you may return it and the price of the instrument will be refunded to you. Our office will accept and file most insurances. We also accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover. Financing options are available. Hearing Aids A wide range of digital hearing instruments are available. We believe in providing the latest technology with personalized care. Hearing Assistive Technology Hearing Assistive Technology includes devices such as amplified telephones, cell phone accessories, television listening systems, alarm clocks, telephone and doorbell ring signalers, flashing smoke alarms, and personal listening systems to assist people to hear or be alerted to environmental signals, with or without hearing aids. We have a demonstration display of a number of these products so that our patients can learn for themselves which devices are most beneficial. Swim Molds, Noise Protectors, and Earmolds for Phone Headsets We offer custom-made swim molds and earmolds for use with telephone headsets in a variety of styles and colors. We also offer custom-made and generic hearing protectors and musician's plugs that provide protection while maintaining the fidelity of the music.
