About this clinic
Audiology Consultants of Southwest Florida has been providing services to the Lee County area since 1984. This is a solo practice so you will be working with Jack Adams personally. He offers comprehensive audiological services including diagnostic testing, hearing aid evaluation and dispensing, and rehabilitative services.
Audiology Consultants of Southwest Florida is located in South Ft. Myers near the intersection of Winkler and Summerlin. In addition to services provided at our office, we also provide services to the Lee County School System Hearing Impaired Program, Shell Point Village, Vocational Rehabilitation, and various nursing homes, assisted living facilities and retirement centers. We also offer Hearing Conservation Programs for local industries.
We provide a full range of hearing aids and amplification options from the top manufacturers. This is the only office in Lee County that offers the invisible extended wear Lyric hearing device. We share office space with an ENT physician, Dr. Douglas Stevens, for medical consultation when indicated.
OUR SERVICES INCLUDE:- Comprehensive Audiological Evaluation (hearing testing), Tympanometry and Acoustic Reflex Testing (to diagnose medical conditions in the middle ear), Tinnitus Evaluation and Counseling (ringing in the ears), Aural Rehabilitation (teaching you to get the most benefit from your hearing aids), Hearing Aid Evaluation and Dispensing (the selection process to assure that you receive the most appropriate amplification for your hearing loss and lifestyle), Hearing Conservation Programs for Industrial OSHA Compliance, and Hearing Aid Maintenance and Repairs on All Makes and Models. We provide services to all ages and accept most all insurances.
Today's advanced hearing aid technology is all programmable but the hearing aids are only as good as the person programming them. My 30+ years experience allows me to assure you that your amplification will be programmed to maximize your hearing and communication needs. We are also the only office that verifies performance with your aids through actual functional testing while wearing your amplification. Your hearing is our primary concern.
