Certified Dementia Practitioner and Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Kyndall Vise received her Doctor of Audiology from the University of Southern Mississippi. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) certification from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. She has served patients struggling with hearing loss and tinnitus in multiple clinical settings, including the Veterans Health Administration and Ear, Nose, & Throat (ENT). Having been personally affected by dementia in her family, Dr. Vise is passionate about educating her patients about the ear to brain connection and creating awareness on the link between untreated hearing loss and cognitive decline. She is happy to be a part of Hearing and Brain Centers of America where she can implement patient-centered care into her practice and develop treatment plans that address each patient’s individual communicative needs.

Certified Dementia Practitioner and Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Rachael Zovko is an audiologist who has treated patients with hearing loss and tinnitus in several clinic settings, such as veteran's affair hospitals and private practices in Arizona and Nevada. She holds a Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from The University of Southern Mississippi, where she contributed to and presented research on the effects of aging on auditory discrimination and the public awareness of hearing and vestibular diagnosis, assessment, and treatment. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from American-Speech and Hearing Association, Certified Dementia Practitioner certification from National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners, and Tinnitus Management certification from the American Academy of Audiology. She is passionate about ongoing learning and research in the field and is excited to be a member of Hearing and Brain Centers of America where she can pursue her passions while helping patients put the life back in their years through hearing treatment.

Harvard Medical and M.I.T. Trained Neuroscientist

Dr. Darrow, author of #1 New Release and Best-Selling Title “Preventing Decline,” is the only MIT and Harvard Medical Trained NeuroScientist practicing audiology in the world, and he is the Director of Audiology Research at Hearing and Brain Centers of America.   As an expert in Speech and Hearing Bioscience and Technology with a doctoral degree from the joint Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T) and Harvard Medical School program. He is a former Clinical Professor at Northeastern University (Boston, MA) and is currently a tenured professor at Worcester State University. Dr. Darrow’s clinical experience is vast and includes a clinical fellowship at the Department of Otolaryngology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Boston, MA) and a placement at the Audiology Department in the East Orange (NJ) Veterans Association Hospital. He is a board member of the Sound of Life Foundation (a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education and hearing health care for those in need). He was recently named to lead the Excellence In Audiology movement across the country. Dr. Darrow is a nationally recognized speaker, trainer, and researcher and has been conducting research at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary for over fifteen years. His publications and research have been cited over 1,000 times.
