Audiologist
Dr. Barbara L. Burns was raised in central Missouri and obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Central Missouri (CMSU) in Warrensburg. Missouri. After college she moved to Kansas City and worked with the great ENT Doctors of Old Westport ENT & Allergy, which became ENT Associates of Greater Kansas City. While there, she received her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University.
She moved back to central Missouri in 2008 and began working for Mid-Missouri Hearing Center, which was purchased by AccuQuest Hearing Centers in 2010. Since then, she opened the Marshall AccuQuest office in 2011 and the Boonville AccuQuest office in 2017, to better serve central Missouri.
"I am from Marshall, Missouri and enjoy the small town relationships I have with my patients. Half of my patients are referrals from current patients. That really says something. They put a lot of trust in me. My goal is to make life changing differences to those living with hearing loss."
