“Dr Koonz introduced me to a hearing aid named Lyric. I love it! I is almost invisible. It fits completely in the ear canal. I never take it out unless I need an MRI and a hook is provided.to remove it. It is so comfortable that I don’t know I am wearing it. Every six weeks I receive a new one. I pay by subscription. No additional fee for appointments. Parker greets me at the desk. Always wearing a smile and knows my name. He books my next appointment according to my preference before departure. Dr Koonz never makes me wait very long. The appointment is never rushed and engages in pleasant conversation while seating my new hearing aid. My whole time in the office runs about 30 minutes. I actually look forward to my appointments,”

“I had not had my Oticon Hearing Aids checked for more than 1 year. My use of them had been limited because I did not feel they were properly attuned to MY hearing loss. Dr. Koonz took a quick look at the pair of hearing aids and immediately informed me that only 1 of the pair was in working order. The left ear aid was broken and would be sent to Oticon for repair. That would take 1-2 weeks, at a cost to me of $300. Then he informed me that Oticon would NOT REPAIR but would simply REPLACE the left ear aid. I found this to be exactly what I needed so that I would have TWO (2) properly functioning hearing aids and would be better able to watch television and actually hear the verbal part. Knowing that I no longer drive, he took my daughter's telephone number and said he would call her to let her know my "new' hearing aid had arrived so she could pick it up at her earliest convenience. ”
