Cheryl Drost,

Audiologist

Dr. Cheryl Drost is a licensed Doctor of Audiology with nearly two decades' experience in a variety of clinical settings including private practice. She earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Northern Illinois University and a doctorate in audiology from the University of Florida. Dr. Drost specializes in hearing aid counseling, fitting, dispensing, verification and diagnostic evaluation for people of all ages.

Dr. Drost enjoys the outdoors, horseback riding, fly fishing and cooking when she is not helping her patients.  She also enjoys exploring her beautiful state Wyoming.

Audiologist

Chere Fourie is a licensed audiologist who earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology and Deaf Studies in 2014 and her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology in 2018 from Towson University, Maryland. She specializes in the evaluation and non-medical treatment of hearing loss and has extensive training in hearing evaluation and rehabilitative audiology including hearing instrument dispensing and patient-centered counseling.

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Shannon Thomson is a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. Sher has been part of the Wyoming Otolaryngology team for 11 years, starting as a hearing instrument technician, training under Dr.Cheryl Drost. In 2011, she received her certification as a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservationist and earned her board certification as a Hearing Instrument Specialist (HIS) in 2015.

Wyoming Otolaryngology is one of the oldest medical practices in Wyoming and continues to honor their heritage of advanced medical and surgical care today.  Audiology services were introduced in 2009 when Dr. Cheryl Drost joined the practice. We offer a full-service hearing health clinic serving people of all ages offering complete hearing evaluations and hearing aids for every lifestyle and budget. Our audiologists continue to review advancements in technology to offer patients the latest solutions.  

Our office is on King Blvd across from Wyoming Small Business Development Center. Our building is cream and dark tan with plenty of free parking.
