Ken Howard is a Greenville, SC, native and has lived in the Winston-Salem area for the past forty-five years. He graduated from Furman University with a BA degree in Economics and Business Administration and has an Associate Degree from Forsyth Tech in Computer Information Systems.
He has lived in Clemmons for the past twenty-five years. He is married and has three daughters and two grandchildren.
After college he moved to Chicago and worked in Industrial and Commercial Real Estate. Leaving the big city, he moved to Winston-Salem where he began working in retail grocery for fifteen years. While in the grocery business he served as a member of the Board of Directors of the NC Retail Grocery Association and on the Board of Directors of Central Carolina Grocers Association where he served as Chairman of the Board for three years. He also served as a member of the Winston-Salem Retail Merchants Association Board of Directors.
From that background he found his true love helping people suffering from hearing loss and has continued in this field for the past thirty years. He has fitted thousands of people with hearing instruments and truly enjoys opening up the world of better hearing for so many people.
